Paris Match: Porto Katsiki in the 10 best Greek beaches
The famous French magazine offers its readers the ten best beaches in Greece, based on TripAdvisor's lists and reviews.
Guess what? Porto Katsiki is yet one of the best beaches to visit in Lefkada! An amazing option for a day trip here.
At the top, we meet the Elafonissi of Crete for the crystal clear waters, but also for the natural beauty of the beaches as reported by Paris Match.
Among the editors of the magazine, however, Kleftiko is the first in their preferences to Milos, "a landscape of unique beauty with natural stone arches and limestone rocks, where one can swim in turquoise waters"
However, Porto Katsiki beach in Lefkada is heating again, for one more year, the list with the top 10 beaches in Greece, and together with Egremni (soon to be open in July-Aigust 2020), Lefkada island should be really proud of.
Porto Katsiki beach is mostly preferred for:
-
The big parking area (come early in the high season)
-
The easy access with stairs (only 70steps)
-
The remote location
-
The facilities like the canteens or partly organized area with umbrellas and sunbeds
-
The wild scene with steep rocks and the magic sunsets
-
The best crystal blue waters you will ever swim!
-
Safety! Porto Katsiki, as well as all the beaches, have been re-examined statically and re-approved after the landslide in Navagio beach in Zante, summer 2018.
The steep rocks and the stunning clear waters make Porto Katsiki Lefkas a favorite beach of most Greeks and eighth in the Paris Match list.
And now with Tripatricks you can include Porto Katsiki on your bucket list on a private tour or on a boat tour.
