The waterfall of Nidri is located in Dimosari, a green canyon, on the east side of Lefkada island in Greece.

The waterfalls in Nidri is located in the wider area of Ellomeno, really close to Nidri village almost 3km and also very easy to get directions to.

It is ideal for small hiking as the distance from the parking to the springs and the waterfall is only 300m, which is quite convenient even for those having walking difficulties, or the elder ones.

After reaching the parking area, at only a few meters away, you can find a small taverna to get your beverages, snacks or a coffee, to get some rest and enjoy all the natural beauty around you and the cool breeze during the summer.

The water is a little bit cold (around 15C) but this is all about getting closer to the nature and refreshment on your holidays in Lefkada.

For the maximum experience try visiting the place in the morning as the canyon looks to the east, and the sunny sky makes a great contradiction with the shadows and the turquoise color of the waters.
